Louise J. Wannier, Chairman, MyShape

Louise has founded and built four companies including prior consumer leadership success as co-founder and COO of Gemstar U.S. and CEO of Gemstar Europe. VCR Plus+ was the most successful consumer electronics product since the Sony Walkman and was taken public with a market capitalization of over $500 million. Louise has an MBA with Honors from the Anderson School at UCLA, a B.S. with Honors from Caltech and a professional degree in textile design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.

Ben Boyer, Managing Director, Tenaya Capital

Ben Boyer is a Managing Director of Tenaya Capital. He initially joined the predecessor to Tenaya (Lehman Brothers Venture Partners) in 2000, and co-founded Tenaya in 2009. Previously, Ben was a member of Lehman Brothers' Technology Investment Banking Group, where he was responsible for corporate finance and strategic advisory assignments. Emily Melton is a Director at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, managing investments in consumer applications and services, software, and technology-enabled services. Emily originally joined DFJ in 2000 and returned to the firm in 2005 after earning her MBA. While pursuing her MBA, Emily worked closely with the CEO of InSpa, a Seattle lifestyle retail venture where she was actively involved in the company’s new market rollout strategy. Philip S. Schlein, Venture Partner, U.S. Venture Partners (USVP)

Phil Schlein has more than 40 years of experience in venture capital, retail and technology companies. As a partner in U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), Phil has advised young companies on strategy, recruiting and finance since 1985. Prior to joining USVP, Phil had a successful 28-year career as an operating executive with R.H. Macy. He served as President and CEO of Macy's California from 1974 to 1985, during which time it became the dominant department store in California. Phil served on the R.H. Macy Board of Directors from 1977 to 1985. He also served on the Board of Directors of Apple Computer from 1979 to 1987. Phil holds a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Barry Schuler, Managing Director, DFJ Growth Fund

Barry Schuler has an impressive record of 25 years of visioneering. He was formerly Chairman/CEO of America Online Inc. and is considered one of the pioneers of the internet. A serial entrepreneur, Barry joined AOL through the acquisition of Medior, Inc. after serving as CEO of Cricket Software (acquired by Computer Associates). Barry has made many notable contributions to the IT industry. He was a key member and ultimately a leader of the senior management team that matured AOL from $400 million to $350 billion in market cap during 20 consecutive quarters of growth. Barry has worked with venture capitalists for 20 years and has had a long-standing close relationship with DFJ. Barry is also chairman and co-founder of Raydiance, Inc. and serves on the board of Hands-On Mobile, Inc., UBmatrix, Inc., Visto Corporation and Raydiance, Inc. He graduated with a BA from Rutgers University.

Peter D. Whitford, Chairman, Parker & Morgan and Whitmarks, LLC

Peter Whitford serves as Chairman of Whitmarks LLC, a 75-year-old business that connects international consumer brands from the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere. Whitmarks LLC advises financial institutions, hedge funds, venture capital funds on the global retail industry. Peter also founded Parker & Morgan, an international multi-channel retailer of sleep and wellness products and services. Prior to Whitmarks, he was the Chairman and CEO of Wet Seal; the President Worldwide of the Disney Stores, Catalog, and Online businesses; and CEO of Structure, a division of The Limited. Peter, a native Australian, is a global retail innovator. He earned a BB from the University of Technology in Sydney, Australia. Peter is on the board of the Chandler School.
