browser compatibility test

See if my system is ready to use MyShape

About the Test

To take full advantage of the MyShape site, your browser has to: (1) accept "cookies" from MyShape (not the edible kind—the tech kind) and (2) have JavaScript and an updated version of Adobe Flash enabled in your browser. Don't let the any of these issues prevent you from shopping on MyShape; we use technology to make things easier for you, not harder! Our simple test determines if your browser is set to accept cookies from MyShape and has JavaScript and Flash enabled.

So What Are Cookies?

Sadly, they are not the kind you can eat. :) Cookies make it possible to have an account on MyShape and make purchases. Using cookies is standard on many websites. If you turn off the ability to use cookies, you will experience problems at MyShape and many other websites on the Internet.

With cookies enabled, the MyShape website will have the ability to deliver a more customized and complete shopping experience. For instance, MyShape uses cookies to deliver content specific to your interests and saves your password so you don't have to reenter it each time you visit our site.

For the real "techie" explanation, read on...

Cookies are small text files. Information for the file is sent by a server to a web client (usually a browser) and then sent back unchanged by the browser each time it accesses that server. Cookies are used for authenticating, session tracking (state maintenance) and maintaining specific information about users, such as site preferences or the contents of their electronic shopping carts.

If you have any questions about our privacy policy or how we treat cookies, please read our privacy policy.

What Is JavaScript

JavaScript is a browser technology that allows MyShape to add interesting and interactive features to our site. By using JavaScript we can provide a better site experience and offer features normally not found on other shopping sites. We don't want you to miss out on all the features we have and plan to add! Enable it to experience many of these important features.

What Is Adobe Flash

Flash is a free browser add-on that allows you to view a range of multimedia material (videos and music, for example) and to take advantage of exciting interactive features (you'll love "Shop with a Friend" and "Definite Maybes"). With a current version of Flash installed, you will be able to use our super-easy, super-quick measurement system as well as catch up with the latest MyShape news.
