In order for a return to be accepted, a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) must be issued and the returned item(s) postmarked within 30 days of ship date. An RMA is issued when our online return procedure has been completed. Returned items must be received in new, unworn and unwashed condition with all original tags attached for appropriate credit to be issued. Important: Some returns may require shipment directly to an outside vendor partner. Please be aware that separate shipping labels will be created during the RMA process for these outside vendor returns. Items must be shipped to the correct vendor address for credit to be issued in a timely manner.

Even if returned within a 30-day period, returns sent without completing our online return process will be charged a $10 handling fee to be deducted from any credit owed for the return.

Return Procedure

  1. Sign in to your Personal Shop™, then click on "my account" in the upper right-hand corner. You'll be taken to the "my account information" page.
  2. Click on "View Your Order History/Returns." It's the third box from the top on the left side of the screen.
  3. Select the order you wish to return, then click the corresponding gray "return order" button on the right side of the screen. If there is no "return order" button, then your 30 days have expired, and you can no longer make your return.
  4. Select the specific item(s) you wish to return, then click the pink "return" button on the right. You'll be taken to the "Reason for Returning Item" page.
  5. Please click all the appropriate buttons to tell us why you're returning your order.
  6. When you're done, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the pink "continue" button on the right side of the screen.
  7. You will again see the item(s) you're returning. Feel free to edit your reasons. You can also cancel the return process and go back to "View Your Order History/Returns." If you wish to continue, click the pink "continue" button on the right.
  8. You will now be on the "Return Summary" page. If everything looks correct, click the pink "submit your return" button on the lower right. Shortly, you will receive an email confirming your return. It will include the Return Merchandise Authroization (RMA) number.
  9. You will now be on the "Return Confirmation" page. Click the pink "print return label and instructions" button.
  10. You will now be on a page that starts "Print this page." If you scroll down, you'll see the prepaid return label, the return packing list and the return summary. Cick on "Print this page" at the top.
  11. The return packing list must be included inside your package to ensure proper credit. Secure your return label to the outside of your return package, remembering to:
    • remove or cover any old address labels or bar codes on the package.
    • carefully tape the return label onto the package, making sure all the information on the label is visible.
    • deliver the package to your U.S. Post Office or mail carrier. You may wish to insure the package with the Post Office for security, as we do not accept responsibility for packages that we do not ship ourselves.
    • keep the return summary for your records.

  12. Credit will be processed upon receipt, inspection and verification of the returned merchandise. Your credit may take up to two billing cycles to show on your credit card statement.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING THE RETURN PROCEDURE

1. How much will it cost to return an order?
A flat $7.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from the order refund amount when you ship using a prepaid MyShape mailing label. Shipping charges are nonrefundable.
2. How long does it take to process my return?
When sending a return package via the U.S. Postal Service, please allow up to 30 days for receipt. Once your package has arrived at our fulfillment center, we usually process your return within 3 to 5 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email once we've processed your return.
To avoid delays in the return process, be sure to include the return packing list (which has the RMA number) with your package.
3. How do I make an exchange?
Return the item you wish to exchange using our online return process, then place a brand new order for the item, size or color you prefer. If you purchased the original item using a promotion code, please contact our Customer Care team at customercare@myshape.com or 888-626-0309.
4. Can I return Final Sale merchandise?
Final Sale items cannot be returned. A Final Sale item is easy to identify: its price always ends in "49."
5. How do I return a Newport News, Shape FX or Spiegel item?
You go through the same online return process that you use when returning any MyShape item. Just be sure to:

  • complete Part B of the "Merchandise Return" form that came with your original order.
  • enclose Part B of the "Merchandise Return" form in the return package.

This will ensure proper credit for your return.

Just as you would for any MyShape return, you'll need to print out your prepaid mailing label (ignore any that came with your original order) and attach it to your package. Then just drop your package in the mail.
Please allow up to 30 days of transit time. A credit is issued after receipt of returned items.
6. How do I exchange a Newport News, Shape FX or Spiegel item?
First return the item you wish to exchange following the procedure for returning a Newport News, Shape FX or Spiegel item, then just place a new order for the item you want.
7. What if I'm returning an Emitations, Newport News, Shape FX or Spiegel
item and another MyShape item?
Our online return process recognizes when you're returning multiple items purchased under our various e-commerce partners. Under "Return Instructions" on the mailing label page, you'll see easy instructions on how to pack your different returns. We only ask that you be sure to affix each return label to its correct corresponding package so your items are shipped to the right locations.
8. What's an RMA number?
It's a Return Merchandise Authorization number. We need it to process your return, which is why it's on the return packing list you include in your package.
